Dem Congresswoman Claims to Cure Cancer

If you are experiencing cancer, I do not suggest that you visit Cori Bush.  She seems to think that she can cure cancer by the laying on of hands.  So the eccentric congresswoman told a PBS newswoman, who looked curious, but not quite as skeptical as you might expect.  The liberal white woman’s sense of guilt and mortification surely took hold.

Cori Bush explained:

“I just remember I put my hand on her, and um, my hand just began to move.  The lumps that were there were no longer there.”

Indeed, Bush claimed in her 2022 autobiography (who would read that?) that she had supernatural abilities of healing, in which she made other fantastical claims including curing cancer in a woman: “I laid hands on her and prayed.”

When I read the Gospels and Jesus cured people by touching them, I admit I was skeptical. When Cori Bush claims similar powers… I’m even more skeptical.  But as I’ve learned from leftist academics, there are “different ways of knowing,” and therefore there must be different ways of doing medicine.

And the funniest thing, as Richard Hanannia pointed out on Twitter, is how the interviewer asks “respectful follow ups” as though she didn’t just hear something crazy.

Yup, there’s no shortage of hypocrisy in the media.

  1. Only goes to show believers have been divided left and right where they are all led by the Godless. Christians, Islamic, Catholic and Jews are all led by the same people and don’t have a clue who they follow.
